12x16 Epson Archival Print ~ Numbered Edition ~ $200.00 plus sales tax

Photographed April 2004
Joshua Tree Wilderness

Lately I’ve taken to creating compositions that juxtapose eternal motion with the seemingly inanimate. This shot depicts 5 hours of the earth’s rotation spinning us past our universe, a host of military aircraft coming and going from the 29 Palms Marine Airbase, localized gusts of wind blowing some trees but not others, and climbers descending Head Stone Rock (the white squiggles are their headlamps)—all by 4 hours of setting moonlight and 1 hour of darkness.
