For me, Moss Landing is about 3 things: fishing, research, and scenery. This shot used an unusually high number of lens elements, a wide open aperture, and relatively slow shutter speed to collapse thousands of feet, localize the focus, and create a soft landscape of mellow maritime activity. I took 20 versions of this photo to get it just right. |
